Nani is poised to quit Manchester United and join big-spending Monaco in a £20million deal.New Old Trafford boss David Moyes has decided the Portuguese winger is surplus to requirements. If Nani leave Moyes will have close to £80m to splash on new signings before the new campaign begins.Nani,
26, was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson in 2007 from Sporting Lisbon and has
scored 39 goals in 215 appearances for United, but last season he made
just seven starts and scored once in the Premier League.Monaco, bankrolled by Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev, have just been promoted back to the French top flight and they expect to challenge champions Paris St Germain for the title next season after a flurry of transfer activity. They
splashed a French record fee of £50m on Colombian striker Radamel Falcao from Atletico Madrid and have also recruited fellow countryman James Rodriguez from Porto.Monaco also signed a second Porto player, Joao Moutinho, who played alongside Nani for previous club Sporting.Nani is expected to call David Moyes tomorrow before making an announcement on his
future in the next couple of days. The Manchester United winger is a £12million target for Monaco, Galatasaray
and Napoli.Talks over a new deal at United have stalled amid speculation linking him with
a move away.Nani’s case for staying is also not helped by the £15m signing of Wilfried Zaha
from Crystal Palace and the return to fitness of Ashley Young.
